My name is Shain Picard.  I was raised in Columbus, OH. I attended Columbus College of Art and Design after receiving the second highest art scholarship.

 

I started in fine arts, such as drawing and painting. After my sophomore year I switched to graphic design, brand identity, and marketing. I spent a total of 7 years there…and never graduated.

In retrospect, I am extremely grateful for not graduating, because my path eventually led me to tattooing, something that combines everything I learned at school and what I was interested in growing up. Tattooing and getting to meet and converse with new people gives me an incredible sense of purpose and satisfaction.

​

I mainly enjoy doing Neo Traditional, Black and Grey realism, and most of all...mashing the two styles together.

 

I do, however, enjoy being versatile and will generally accept and put my everything, into whatever challenges come my way.
